CQM10DX Hybrid - YO7-Professional analysis...

07-09-2016... At last, with help from Mark CQM10DX ready to lift!

I designed this hybrid (mixture of parts/sizes) for my own personal use at 'The Pump House'. It is a low Q design, average Q-factor at around just 13! The DE uses 5/8 Inch (15.8750mm) OD tube and 1/2 Inch (12.7mm) OD tube for the parasitic elements including reflector. My observations have revealed that YO7-Pro is more accurate with larger element diameters than some other software.

Because I have used element mountings from R. W. Badland then +6mm has been added to the overall length of each element, not for the driven though. VSWR is flat and very low. In heavy Devonshire rain, mist and condensation VSWR hardly changes!
